Midday Momentum is a monthly gathering designed to help members of The Root—and the broader community—connect, learn, and grow together.

This session features Chris Burgett, Founder of Ironlight Creative and Chief Creative Officer of The Nest, The Root’s in-house podcast, video, and storytelling studio.

Chris will share why content is the engine behind modern business growth—and what happens when brands fail to create it consistently. With experience producing viral content and long-term brand assets, he’ll walk attendees through how podcasting, video, and storytelling can build trust, expand reach, and create momentum that lasts beyond a single post or campaign.

Attendees will also have the opportunity to tour The Nest Studio, a creator-first space designed for accessible, transparent, long-term content production—built inside The Root for founders, professionals, nonprofits, and brands ready to show up clearly and consistently.
