The Root is a coworking space located in the heart of downtown New Albany*. First built in 1859, our historic building is designed to be a hub of new ideas and innovation, business and creative activity, and resources for your business to flourish.
Our mission is to connect unconnected people in a versatile office environment by showing the business world what love looks like.

Lounge on one of our comfy couches, sit at an individual desk, or switch it up and stand at our drafting bar. Take a digital journey of our New Albany location to find your spot and see where you’ll get shit done.
We also had the opportunity to collaborate with Make My Move, a marketplace product that connects remote workers and other work-from-anywhere talent with communities that are attracting new residents, to create a wonderful video that captures what it’s like to live and work in our community.
